So I can barely, or is it bearly, contain my excitement.

We've successfully manoevered our way through our first

January and February in northern Alberta - March is

already underway - and I beleive my clubs are starting to itch

to get back out on the fairways and greens at Miskanaw.

It's been a pleasantly busy, challenging, and satisfying first year in

Fort McMurray and my anticipation of the summer ahead

is intensified by the changes made at the golf course last fall.

The new number 9 hole should be spectacular. And with the

improved fairways on several of the holes on the back nine

I think Fort Mac golfers are in for a treat.

First we'll get through March - then we'll play a couple of games in

Jamaica when the family and friends gather for Tyler and Michelle's wedding -

and then it'll be back home and hopefully within a couple of weeks the new season will

be upon us.

If you too are starting to think about getting back out in the fresh air and

sunshine, seeing what you can con out of the golf gods - feel free to listen to the material

on the following pages...you never know. You might find something that helps you pull

the clubs out of your bag a hint more confident....that couldn't hurt now could it ?
